What is Sydney Sweeney’s IQ?
Valedictorian, two Emmy nominations and her own production company, yet no published IQ test and no number to check.

Sydney Sweeney’s IQ is not on record: no IQ test result has been published, and no figure attached to her name turned up on any page we could open. What is documented is a high-school valedictorian who took college business classes while acting, two 2022 Emmy nominations and producing credits on Immaculate and Christy, which supports an estimated IQ of about 115–130.
Sydney Sweeney’s estimated IQ
- Valedictorian of her graduating class at Brighton Hall School in Burbank, California, a fact Wikipedia sources to a 2022 Hollywood Reporter interview, that Bored Panda repeated in 2025, and that she stated herself on The Drew Barrymore Show.
- Said on The Drew Barrymore Show (reported January 31, 2022) that she was balancing college with acting while working toward a business degree and made the Dean’s List every semester for two years; no source we opened names the college, and no completed degree is documented.
- Two Primetime Emmy nominations, both in 2022 — Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Euphoria and in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for The White Lotus — per the Television Academy, which lists no win.
- Founded the production company Fifty-Fifty Films in 2020; produced and starred in Immaculate (2024), a project she first auditioned for in 2014 and later bought the rights to; executive producer of Anyone but You (2023); credited producer of Christy (2025).
Sydney Sweeney’s estimated IQ rests on a high-school valedictory, self-reported college coursework with no named school or degree, and producing credits, a looser basis than a completed degree or a published SAT or ACT score. Being named valedictorian ranks one student within one school’s class, and acting and producing reward craft, timing and collaboration as much as measured ability.

What an IQ of 115–130 actually means
Set the claim aside for a moment. If someone genuinely scored in this range, here is what that would represent.
| Score range | Classification | Share of people | What it indicates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 85 – 114 | Average | ~68% | The range most people fall into. |
| 115 – 129 | Above average | ~13.6% | Roughly one person in seven. |
| 130 – 144 | Gifted | ~2% | The threshold most high-IQ societies use. |
| Above 144 | Highly gifted | ~0.1% | Figures above this range are extrapolated from the curve rather than measured. |
Percentages are approximate and describe a normal distribution. The same number means different things on tests with different standard deviations.

Sydney Bernice Sweeney was born on September 12, 1997, in Spokane, Washington. She attended Saint George’s School in Spokane through much of middle school, according to The Spokesman-Review, before going to Los Angeles to audition during pilot season at twelve; Wikipedia says she moved there at thirteen. Her first television credit was a bit part in an episode of Heroes in 2009. She later attended Brighton Hall School in Burbank, California, and was valedictorian of her graduating class.
Her breakthrough came in 2018 and 2019 across several roles: Emaline Addario in Netflix’s Everything Sucks!, Alice in the HBO miniseries Sharp Objects, Eden Spencer in the second season of The Handmaid’s Tale (part of the ensemble Wikipedia lists as a 2019 Screen Actors Guild Award nominee), and Dianne “Snake” Lake in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). In June 2019 HBO premiered Euphoria, created by Sam Levinson, with Sweeney as Cassie Howard; The White Lotus followed in 2021 with her as Olivia Mossbacher. Both roles drew Primetime Emmy nominations in 2022, according to the Television Academy, which lists no win.
In 2023 she played Reality Winner in Reality, directed by Tina Satter and drawn from the FBI interrogation transcript; it premiered at the Berlin Film Festival on February 18, 2023, and on HBO on May 29, 2023, earning her a Critics’ Choice Award nomination (ceremony January 14, 2024). Anyone but You opened in December 2023 with Sweeney as an executive producer, and she took a supporting role in Madame Web, released in February 2024. She had founded Fifty-Fifty Films in 2020. Immaculate (March 22, 2024, directed by Michael Mohan) grew from a screenplay by Andrew Lobel that she first auditioned for in 2014 and later bought the rights to; she produced it and starred as Sister Cecilia.
She played the boxer Christy Martin and produced Christy (directed by David Michôd), which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025 and opened in theaters on November 7, 2025; Wikipedia lists festival honors for the performance from Hamptons, Santa Barbara and SCAD Savannah. She co-starred with Amanda Seyfried in The Housemaid in December 2025, returned as Cassie in the third season of Euphoria, which premiered on April 12, 2026, and, according to Wikipedia as of October 2026, launched the production company Honey Trap with producer Kaylee McGregor in June 2026. Why no figure circulates
Following a claim back to its first appearance is the part almost nobody does — and it is what most people are actually asking.

The Sydney Sweeney IQ question has no number behind it. We opened the pages that claim to answer it and none cites a test. The realiqtest.org article from May 25, 2026 says plainly that there is no reliable public record of a professionally administered full-scale IQ score for her, and the celebrity-IQ ranking sites we checked, check-iq.org and sociosite.net, did not list her. For how such numbers usually arise, see where celebrity IQ numbers come from. In Sweeney’s case the pattern is absence rather than corruption: there is no circulating figure to trace.
What does circulate when people ask whether Sydney Sweeney is smart is a school record. Three statements carry it: that she was valedictorian of her class at Brighton Hall School in Burbank (Wikipedia, citing a 2022 Hollywood Reporter interview, and Bored Panda in 2025); that she told The Drew Barrymore Show she made the Dean’s List every semester for two years while working toward a business degree; and, per her Wikipedia biography, that as a child she belonged to a math club called Math is Cool and her school’s robotics team. Each is documented, and none is an IQ score. Opinions about anyone’s intelligence, favorable or not, are not test results.
A Sydney Sweeney estimated IQ therefore has to be built from the record, and her record is the looser kind of evidence this site works with. There is no completed degree to weigh, as there is for Natalie Portman, whose 135–145 range rests on a finished Harvard degree and published research, and no SAT or ACT result is published, so the usual SAT-to-IQ conversion has nothing to convert. That places her below Portman and below Emma Watson’s 125–140, with the ranges overlapping only between 125 and 130. The closest match in shape is Tom Holland, whose page also finds no circulating figure and ranges 105–130.
The Sydney Sweeney IQ level this page infers, 115–130, runs from about the 84th to about the 98th percentile on the usual scale with a standard deviation of 15: above average, short of the territory where a single score gets hard to measure, and in line with what an IQ near 120 means. Acting and producing are not intelligence tests, so the range says only that her documented record sits comfortably inside what accomplished professionals usually show. If an actual test result for her ever appears with a named test, a date and a primary source, it should replace this inference.

Prints no IQ number and says no reliable public record of a professionally administered full-scale IQ score exists for her.
Checked the actors ranking on check-iq.org, the celebrity-IQ list on sociosite.net and the realiqtest.org article; none lists a figure for her. No school, clinical, testing-body or interview record of an administered test was found, and she has not stated a number in any source we opened.
The sources behind our estimate
The figures that circulate for Sydney Sweeney, what we were able to confirm, and where the two diverge.
People type “Sydney Sweeney IQ”, “what is Sydney Sweeney’s IQ”, “Sydney Sweeney IQ level” and “Sydney Sweeney high IQ”, but no page we could open states a number for her. The nearest thing to an answer is her school record: valedictorian, Dean’s List, a childhood math club.
No published IQ test result exists for Sydney Sweeney, and we found no number attached to her name on any page we could open. The realiqtest.org article “What Is Sydney Sweeney’s IQ?” (dated May 25, 2026) says there is “no reliable public record” of a professionally administered full-scale IQ score for her and prints no figure. When we checked in October 2026, neither the actors ranking on check-iq.org nor the celebrity IQ list on sociosite.net listed her. A number with no test name, date or examiner behind it would be speculation, high or low.
With no circulating figure there is nothing to compare against: the only numbers here are the two ends of the inferred range. For this name the demand for an IQ number is real, but we found no sourced number to answer it.

Sydney Sweeney — frequently asked
What is Sydney Sweeney’s IQ?
No test result has been published, so her IQ is unknown. No figure attached to her name could be traced to a test on any page we opened. This site’s estimate of 115–130 is an inference from a documented record: high-school valedictorian, two 2022 Emmy nominations and producing credits.
Has Sydney Sweeney ever taken an IQ test?
None is documented. We found no school, clinical or media record of an IQ test for Sydney Sweeney, and she has not stated a score in any source we opened. We found no SAT or ACT score published for her either.
What is Sydney Sweeney’s estimated IQ level?
This page puts Sydney Sweeney’s estimated IQ level at 115–130, which runs from about the 84th to the 98th percentile. It is an inference from achievement, not a measurement, and it is looser than ranges built on a completed degree or a published test score.
Is Sydney Sweeney smart?
Her documented record points to strong academic ability: valedictorian at Brighton Hall School in Burbank and, by her own account, the Dean’s List every semester for two years of college, alongside a producing career. None of that is an IQ score, and “smart” is an opinion, not a measurement.
Does Sydney Sweeney have a high IQ?
There is no test result to show it either way. Her record is consistent with an IQ above average, which is why this page estimates 115–130, but that range is an inference from achievement. Many people with the same record would score outside it.
Did Sydney Sweeney go to college?
She has said she took college classes while working toward a business degree and made the Dean’s List every semester for two years. No source we opened names the college, and no completed degree is documented. Her high-school record is clearer: valedictorian at Brighton Hall School in Burbank.
How does Sydney Sweeney’s estimated IQ compare with Emma Watson’s?
Sydney Sweeney’s estimated range on this site is 115–130 and Emma Watson’s is 125–140, so the two overlap between 125 and 130. Both are inferences from documented achievement, not test scores, and no completed college degree is documented for Sweeney.
