What is Volodymyr Zelensky’s IQ?
The only IQ figure we found is one website’s own estimate; the record behind it is a law degree, a reported English-language test and a comedy studio, none of them an IQ score.

What is Zelensky’s IQ? The name is also spelled Zelenskyy, and under either spelling the search returns the same few pages. The only one that states a number is BrainTesting’s article on his IQ, dated May 7, 2026: 134, about the 99th percentile, in a band it calls very high. The same page says plainly that no credible public score exists, describes its celebrity-IQ articles as opinion rather than science, and builds the figure from his biography, including a law degree, English-language skill, a reported TOEFL pass at 16, comedy writing and running a media company. Its references include TIME, the President’s official biography and Fakty ICTV, and none of them reports a test. That is the usual route by which celebrity IQ numbers spread: a biography is read as evidence, converted into a percentile, and then repeated as if it had been measured.

A second page, RealIQTest’s “What Is Volodymyr Zelensky’s IQ?” (March 20, 2024), gives no number at all. It says no reliable public record shows a professionally administered full-scale IQ score for him, and that any figure attached to the IQ of Zelensky is speculation unless it names a test, its conditions, a date and a primary source. The two pages agree on the fact that matters. The other places a number could have come from are empty: YouGov’s November 2025 survey, in which Americans rated the IQs of 38 political figures, does not include him, and we found no entry for him on celebrityiqs.com or iqtesta.com. No page we found credits him with an IQ of 400 or 1000. On the usual scale, where the average is 100 and a standard deviation is 15 points, 400 would sit 20 standard deviations above the mean and 1000 would sit 60, values no norm-referenced test can report (the highest IQ score a test can report).

The estimate on this page starts from the record instead. A law degree completed in 2000 is a real credential, but none of the sources we checked gives grades, honors or a class rank, so it cannot be turned into a number the way Jimmy Carter’s documented Naval Academy rank of 59th in a class of 820 can, and it lacks the documented law-school records that anchor the 130–145 bands of Barack Obama (a Harvard Law Review presidency) and Hillary Clinton (a Yale J.D.). No postgraduate degree appears in the biographies checked either, the kind of anchor behind Angela Merkel’s 138–155. The TOEFL is an English-proficiency exam, so even a published score would be an achievement test, not an IQ test. What the record does show is more than two decades of comedy writing, performing and production work: KVN from 1995, a studio co-founded in 2003, and a television series he starred in and produced for three seasons. An IQ near 135 would place someone in roughly the top one percent (what an IQ of 135 means); that is where the 134 sits in this range, and the record neither confirms nor excludes it.

Scholarly estimates of leaders’ IQs exist, but none reaches him. Dean Keith Simonton’s 2006 study in Political Psychology estimated IQ for all 42 U.S. presidents from George Washington to George W.
