No published IQ test result exists for Kim Kardashian, and the IQ level quoted for her online, anywhere from 95 to 190, cites no test. What is documented is a “baby bar” law exam passed on the fourth try in December 2021 and the co-founding of SKIMS, valued at $5 billion in November 2025, which support an estimated IQ of 105–125.

Kim Kardashian’s estimated IQ

IQ Metrics estimate105–125Achievement and academic record
What the estimate rests on
  • Passed California’s First-Year Law Students’ Examination, the “baby bar” (contracts, criminal law and torts), on her fourth attempt: NBC News reported her announcement on December 13, 2021, and she said she had failed it three times in two years. State Bar statistics put the share of all takers passing at 20.7% in June 2021 and 14.0% in October 2021.
  • Six years in the State Bar’s Law Office Study Program, reported complete by the ABA Journal on May 28, 2025, and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination passed in March 2025. She sat the full California Bar Exam in July 2025 and said she had not passed; as of September 2026 no report of a pass was found.
  • SKIMS, founded in 2019 with Jens Grede: a $225 million round at a $5 billion valuation in November 2025 (Fox Business). A brand built with partners on a large audience is only a loose signal of test-measured ability.
  • No academic anchor: Marymount High School (class of 1998, per Wikipedia), no completed college (NBC News), and no published IQ, SAT, ACT or LSAT score.

No IQ, SAT, ACT or LSAT score has been published for Kim Kardashian, so this range is inferred from exam outcomes and a business record, not from any test. Licensing exams measure knowledge of law after years of study; the baby bar took four attempts and the full bar exam is not yet passed. The business record is shared with partners and rests on an audience, so treat the range as wide, with soft edges.

Background

Who Kim Kardashian is

Kim Kardashian was born on October 21, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, and Wikidata describes her as an American media personality, businesswoman, model and actress. Wikipedia says she attended Marymount High School, an independent, Catholic, all-girls, college-preparatory school in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, and the school’s alumnae list gives her class of 1998. NBC News described her in April 2019 and again in December 2021 as someone who did not complete college. No transcript, class rank or SAT or ACT score has been published, so whether she was a strong student has no documented answer beyond the school she attended.

Her business record begins with KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance, launched in 2017 (Wikipedia, citing Allure), and SKIMS, founded in 2019 with Jens Grede (Fox Business). SKIMS said in November 2025 that it had raised $225 million in a round led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, valuing the company at $5 billion, and that it was on track to exceed $1 billion in net sales that year; Fox Business reported 18 U.S. stores and two franchise locations in Mexico.

Her law study is the best-documented part of the record. NBC News reported on April 10, 2019 that she told Vogue, for its May issue, that she had decided the previous summer to begin a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco. The State Bar of California describes that route, the Law Office Study Program, as four years of study with at least 72 hours a month and at least 20 hours a month of direct supervision by an attorney or judge; students who complete it become eligible to take the California Bar Examination, and they must pass the First-Year Law Students’ Examination after the first year. NBC News reported on December 13, 2021 that she had announced on Instagram that she passed that exam, the baby bar. The ABA Journal reported on May 28, 2025 that she had completed her studies in six years, two more than the program requires, and that she had passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination in March.

She sat the full California Bar Exam in July 2025 and said in November that she had not passed, adding that she was “still all in until I pass the bar.” The State Bar’s statistics for the General Bar Exam that July show 54.8% of all takers passing, 69.7% of first-time takers and 12.4% of repeat takers. As of September 2026 no report found has her passing the exam; her own words in November 2025 were that she is “not a lawyer yet,” and the State Bar says that completing the four-year program does not guarantee licensure. Kim Kardashian’s estimated IQ here, 105–125, is inferred from that record and from nothing measured; whether it makes her smart enough to be a lawyer is a question about legal preparation more than test-measured ability, and for what the data say about ability across jobs, see average IQ by occupation.

Where it came from

Where the 95–190 figure came from

Following a claim back to its first appearance is the part almost nobody does — and it is what most people are actually asking.

Kim Kardashian photographed at Westfield Parramatta in Sydney, Australia, in September 2014

The Kim Kardashian IQ scores online come from celebrity IQ estimator pages, and none cites an IQ test. iqtesta.com states that she “has an IQ of 190” next to a line calling 200 the theoretical maximum; SocioSite says her IQ is estimated at 190; BrainManager (June 24, 2025) and Celebs IQ print 119; scientific.place gives 119 and credits an iq-tests.org page archived May 8, 2024; Real IQ Test Online says 95 to 100 and calls that below average; Riot IQ (December 1, 2025) says estimates range 95–119. No page names a test, an examiner or a test date. For how numbers like these usually take hold, see where celebrity IQ numbers come from.

The 165 is a different kind of number. check-iq.org, in a page published September 10, 2024 and updated January 31, 2025, headlines 165 and says it derived the figure from four sources, IQ-test.net, SocioSite, Curiosify and Gossip Gleam, using range midpoints for some. It lists them at 190, 190, 190 and 90, each with low confidence, and their mean is 165, though the page does not show the arithmetic. TV Shows Ace reported on December 5, 2024 that a Reddit user had posted a screenshot reading “Kim Kardashian has an estimated IQ of 165” with the comment that it “has to be a joke.” On a scale with a standard deviation of 15, a 190 is six standard deviations above the mean, about one person in a billion, and a 165 about one in 136,000 (see how rare a high IQ score is). An average of four untested estimates is still an untested estimate.

What can be checked is a set of exam results, and they measure knowledge of the law, which is related to reasoning ability but is not an IQ. California’s First-Year Law Students’ Examination, the “baby bar,” covers contracts, criminal law and torts, and Law Office Study Program students must pass it after their first year. State Bar figures for the two 2021 sittings show 20.7% of all takers passing in June and 14.0% in October (21.9% and 19.4% for Law Office Study Program students), and the State Bar generally releases October results in December, the month she announced hers. By her own account she failed it three times in two years; NBC News reported that she needed a 560 to pass and got a 474 on her first attempt. Riot IQ notes that, unlike the SAT or ACT, there is no reliable method of converting bar exam scores to IQ, and no LSAT score has turned up, so the usual conversion of law-admission scores to IQ has nothing to work on.

Placed among the business profiles here, the estimate matches Richard Branson’s 105–125, overlaps Jack Ma’s 108–122 and sits lower than MrBeast’s 115–130, another founder who turned a large online audience into a consumer-products company. The errors run in both directions: the 165 and 190 are far above anything the record supports, and the 95 to 100 that one page presents as a low IQ is not supported either, because finishing a six-year study program and passing an exam that 20.7% and 14.0% of takers passed in its two 2021 sittings point above the middle of the scale, though not by how much. Business outcomes are a loose signal: SKIMS was founded with Jens Grede, and the Swedish data on billionaires and the link between IQ and income describe tendencies across large groups, not what any one founder scored.

The evidence

The sources behind our estimate

The figures that circulate for Kim Kardashian, what we were able to confirm, and where the two diverge.

Most widely cited95–190

Searches for “Kim Kardashian IQ score” turn up figures from 95 to 190, and no number dominates. iqtesta.com says she “has an IQ of 190” and SocioSite puts it at 190; check-iq.org (updated January 31, 2025) says she “has an estimated IQ of 165,” the same wording as a screenshot a Reddit user posted, according to TV Shows Ace on December 5, 2024; BrainManager (June 24, 2025) and Celebs IQ give 119; Riot IQ (December 1, 2025) says estimates range 95–119; Real IQ Test Online says 95 to 100.

What we foundNo sourced test result

None of these pages names a test, an examiner or a test date. iqtesta.com and SocioSite give 190 with no source or date. check-iq.org rates the confidence of each of its four inputs as low, and its 165 matches their mean (190, 190, 190 and 90). BrainManager calls 119 an estimate and says no public records show she ever took an IQ test; scientific.place labels 119 an estimate and credits an iq-tests.org page. Riot IQ calls 190 a baseless rumor and offers 95–119 as an estimate drawn from her education and career. Real IQ Test Online gives 95 to 100 without a source. The documented record holds no IQ test at all: it shows a high school class of 1998, no completed college, two passed law exams, one bar exam not yet passed and a company.

Kim Kardashian’s IQ score, as circulated, scatters instead of converging, which is what figures made without a test look like.

Questions

Kim Kardashian — frequently asked

What is Kim Kardashian’s IQ?

Kim Kardashian’s real IQ is unknown, because no IQ test result has been published for her. This site’s estimate, inferred from her law-exam and business record rather than any test, is 105–125. The Kim Kardashian IQ scores online, from 95 to 190, name no test, examiner or test date.

Did Kim Kardashian take an IQ test?

No Kim Kardashian IQ test result has been published, and none of the pages checked says she sat one; BrainManager notes that no public records show she ever did. Her documented exams are legal ones: California’s baby bar, passed in December 2021, and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination, passed in March 2025.

Where do the Kim Kardashian IQ scores of 190, 165 and 119 come from?

From celebrity IQ estimator pages, not tests. iqtesta.com and SocioSite give 190; check-iq.org’s 165 equals the mean of four figures it lists (190, 190, 190 and 90); BrainManager and Celebs IQ give 119. A Reddit post reported by TV Shows Ace in December 2024 shared the 165 as a screenshot. None cites a test.

Is Kim Kardashian intelligent?

Kim Kardashian’s record shows sustained effort and a large business, not a measured score. She spent six years in California’s Law Office Study Program, passed the baby bar on a fourth attempt and co-founded SKIMS, valued at $5 billion in November 2025. This site’s estimated IQ level for her, 105–125, is above average; the record does not support the genius-level high IQ some pages claim.

Is Kim Kardashian smart enough to be a lawyer?

Whether Kim Kardashian is smart enough to be a lawyer turns on legal exams, not an IQ score. She passed California’s baby bar in December 2021 and the professional responsibility exam (MPRE) in March 2025, but said she did not pass the July 2025 bar exam, and as of September 2026 no report shows she is licensed. In July 2025, 69.7% of first-time takers passed.

Was Kim Kardashian smart in high school?

Kim Kardashian’s high-school record has not been published: no transcript, class rank, SAT or ACT score is available. What is documented is that she attended Marymount High School in Los Angeles (class of 1998, per Wikipedia) and that NBC News reported she did not complete college.

How does Kim Kardashian’s estimated IQ compare with Richard Branson’s and MrBeast’s?

This site’s estimate for Kim Kardashian, 105–125, matches Richard Branson’s 105–125 and sits lower than MrBeast’s 115–130. All three ranges are inferred from documented achievement, not from test results.
