What is Ariana Grande’s IQ?
Ariana Grande’s most-repeated IQ score, 105, sits below the range her record supports and the highest, 145, sits above it; what can actually be checked is 3 Grammys from 20 nominations.

No published IQ test result exists for Ariana Grande: the 105, 131 and 145 that circulate come from pages that name no test, examiner or date. Her documented record, from a 2012 high-school graduation to seven Billboard 200 number-one albums and a Best Supporting Actress nomination for Wicked, supports an estimated IQ level of roughly 115–130, not a verified score.
Ariana Grande’s estimated IQ
- School: she attended Pine Crest School and then North Broward Preparatory School, both private, stopped attending classes to work on Broadway in 13 while the school kept sending her lessons, and graduated in 2012 according to the Boca Raton Tribune (September 12, 2014); Wikipedia’s alumni list for North Broward Prep gives 2011.
- Seven Billboard 200 number-one albums, from Yours Truly (2013) to Petal, which debuted at number one on the chart dated August 15, 2026 with 295,000 equivalent album units (RTT News, August 14, 2026); the total ties her with Lady Gaga for the fifth-most among solo women.
- Three Grammy Awards from 20 nominations as of September 2026 (Recording Academy): Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener (61st Grammys, February 10, 2019), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga (63rd, March 14, 2021) and “Defying Gravity” with Cynthia Erivo (68th, February 1, 2026).
- A nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Wicked at the 97th Academy Awards on March 2, 2025; she has said she began vocal training with Eric Vetro two and a half to three months before her first audition for Glinda and had worked with acting coach Nancy Banks long before it (PopCrush, March 3, 2025).
- The short film Brighter Days Ahead (March 28, 2025), her directorial debut, credited to her and Christian Breslauer as directors and writers, which won Video of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on September 7, 2025.
No IQ, SAT, ACT or school-grade result has been published for her, so no test anchors the range, and her three Grammys are for a pop vocal album and two duet performances, awards that also credit producers, engineers or co-performers, so the record cannot isolate her share. Chart and award success reflects talent, training and audience reception more than reasoning ability, so the range is a loose inference that could miss in either direction.

What an IQ of 115–130 actually means
Set the claim aside for a moment. If someone genuinely scored in this range, here is what that would represent.
Average is 100 by construction, and about two-thirds of people fall between 85 and 115. Take the test to place your own score on this scale.
| Score range | Classification | Share of people | What it indicates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 85 – 114 | Average | ~68% | The range most people fall into. |
| 115 – 129 | Above average | ~13.6% | Roughly one person in seven. |
| 130 – 144 | Gifted | ~2% | The threshold most high-IQ societies use. |
| Above 144 | Highly gifted | ~0.1% | Figures above this range are extrapolated from the curve rather than measured. |
Percentages are approximate and describe a normal distribution. The same number means different things on tests with different standard deviations.
Thirty questions gives you a measured position on this exact scale — your score, your percentile and the ability breakdown behind it.

Ariana Grande-Butera was born on June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton, Florida, according to the Recording Academy’s biography of her, which adds that Gloria Estefan saw her sing on a cruise ship when she was eight. On the school question behind “was Ariana Grande smart in school,” the record is thin: she attended Pine Crest School, a private preparatory school with campuses in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, and then North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, and the Boca Raton Tribune reported in 2014 that she stopped attending classes because of her Broadway role, that the school kept sending her lessons and that she graduated in 2012. No grade, class rank or entrance-exam score appears in any source checked, and grades and measured ability overlap only in part (see how well IQ predicts school success).
She was cast as the cheerleader Charlotte in the Broadway musical 13, which opened at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on October 5, 2008 and closed on January 4, 2009, and went on to play Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon series Victorious (March 27, 2010–February 2, 2013) and its spin-off Sam & Cat (June 8, 2013–July 17, 2014). Wikipedia calls Cat Valentine “adorably dimwitted,” but a role is written by others and says nothing about the actress, so “is Ariana Grande intelligent” cannot be answered from her characters. Her debut album, Yours Truly, followed on August 30, 2013 and reached number one on the Billboard 200.
Seven of her albums have reached number one on the Billboard 200, according to RTT News (August 14, 2026): Yours Truly (2013), My Everything (2014), Sweetener (2018), Thank U, Next (2019), Positions (2020), Eternal Sunshine (2024) and Petal, released July 31, 2026, which debuted with 295,000 equivalent album units on the chart dated August 15. The Recording Academy’s artist page lists 3 wins from 20 nominations as of September 2026: Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener at the 61st Grammys (February 10, 2019), then Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga (63rd, March 14, 2021) and for “Defying Gravity” with Cynthia Erivo (68th, February 1, 2026), plus nominations for Album of the Year (Thank U, Next) and Record of the Year (“7 Rings”) in 2020.
Jon M. Chu’s Wicked opened in the United States on November 22, 2024, with Grande as Glinda opposite Cynthia Erivo, and Wicked: For Good followed on November 21, 2025. At the 97th Academy Awards on March 2, 2025, she was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role; Zoe Saldaña won for Emilia Pérez. She has said she began vocal training with Eric Vetro two and a half to three months before her first audition and had worked with acting coach Nancy Banks long before it, and Vetro told the TV show Extra they worked “months and months, three months just on the audition.” Brighter Days Ahead, a short film released on March 28, 2025 and credited to her and Christian Breslauer as directors and writers, was her directorial debut and won Video of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards; her Eternal Sunshine Tour, 41 shows, ended at London’s O2 Arena on September 1, 2026.

Where the 105–145 figure came from
Following a claim back to its first appearance is the part almost nobody does — and it is what most people are actually asking.

Search “Ariana Grande IQ” or “Ariana Grande IQ score” and the pages that print a number give three different ones, 105, 131 and 145, and not one names a test. celebrityiqs.com is titled “Ariana Grande IQ Score: 105” and prints “IQ: 105” with no source, test or date; it sits next to a form inviting visitors’ own guesses and a note that its scores are “for entertainment purposes only.” iqtesta.com and sociosite.net carry the same 105 inside explainers about what an IQ of 105 means, in short biographies that stop in 2019 and credit her with one Grammy (the Recording Academy now lists three). lifescoretest.com, last reviewed August 2026, gives 131 as an “Unverified Editorial IQ Estimate.” A TikTok video from @popfever lists “Ariana Grande 145” beside Alicia Keys 154, Lady Gaga 166 and RM 148, the same figures this site records as circulating for Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga and Kim Namjoon (RM); the video could not be opened, so what it cites is unknown. That is five pages and no test behind any of them; for the general pattern, see where celebrity IQ numbers come from.
The pages that decline to give a number are the more careful ones. realiqtest.org (November 16, 2023) says any exact number is speculation unless it comes with a named test, testing conditions, a date and a primary source. realiqtestonline.com says she has never disclosed her IQ score, then adds that “we can assume” an above-average level of intelligence from her success: the same inference this profile makes, but without a range, a method or a caveat. The phrase “Ariana Grande IQ test” does not lead to an assessment either. The globalmusicvibe.com “Ultimate Ariana Grande Quiz” is 20 questions about her career, from her Nickelodeon days to her albums, and it tests the fan, not the singer.
Each circulating figure also implies something specific. On the standard 15-point scale (see why the standard deviation matters), 105 is about the 63rd percentile, 131 about the 98th and 145 about 1 person in 740. Most profiles on this site find the circulating figure above what the record supports; this one is unusual because the most-repeated number, 105, sits below the range and the other two sit above it. Disagreement in both directions is what numbers written from reputation, not measured, look like. What can be checked is a different kind of ability: singing and stage craft are real skills, but they are the kind that multiple intelligences theory treats as intelligences in their own right, not what an IQ test scores.
The sourced record supports 115–130, the 84th to 98th percentile on the standard scale, level with Kanye West and Drake, whose ranges on this site also rest on achievement rather than a test, and five points below Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish, whose estimates use the same achievement-based method, and Taylor Swift, all at 120–135. Lady Gaga is the nearest like-for-like comparison: she shares the 2021 Grammy for “Rain on Me” with Grande, and RTT News says Grande’s seven Billboard 200 number-one albums tie her with Gaga for the fifth-most among solo women. The five-point gap reflects the kind of evidence, not a ranking of talent: Grande’s three Grammys are for performances and a shared album award, and her Oscar nomination is for acting. A score around 120 is what an IQ of 120 means in practice: clearly above average and well short of a genius label, and awards and chart positions are only a loose guide to measured ability (see IQ and creativity).
How we read a number →Checked the pages that state a figure (celebrityiqs.com, iqtesta.com, sociosite.net, lifescoretest.com), two that decline to (realiqtestonline.com, realiqtest.org), a fan quiz, English Wikipedia’s article on her (no IQ, degree or test-score statement) and the Recording Academy and Academy pages. None reports a test she took, an examiner, a date or a score report. The celebrity-IQ list pages at iqcertificate.org, sociosite.net (its famous-person list) and check-iq.org do not include her; a TikTok video seen in search could not be opened.
They give 105, 105, 105 and 131. celebrityiqs.com prints “IQ: 105” with no source, test or date and says its scores are “for entertainment purposes only.” iqtesta.com and sociosite.net use her as the example in explainers on an IQ of 105, in biographies crediting her with one Grammy. lifescoretest.com (last reviewed August 2026) calls 131 an “Unverified Editorial IQ Estimate” that “must not be treated as fact.”
realiqtestonline.com and realiqtest.org print no figure: the first says she has never disclosed her IQ score, the second that any exact number is speculation without a named test, date and primary source. globalmusicvibe.com’s quiz is 20 fan-trivia questions. truthinamericaneducation.com says she “maintained an impressive 4.0 GPA throughout her high school years,” with no source for the figure. A TikTok video from @popfever appears in search results with “Ariana Grande 145” in its title; it could not be opened.
Stats header: 3 wins and 20 nominations as of September 26, 2026. Wins: Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener (2019, 61st), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Rain On Me” with Lady Gaga (2021, 63rd) and “Defying Gravity” with Cynthia Erivo (2026, 68th). The 2019 category page names Pharrell Williams as producer and Mike Larson as engineer of Sweetener. The biography gives her birth date and place and says Gloria Estefan discovered her on a cruise ship at eight.
Sunday, March 2, 2025, Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. Actress in a Supporting Role: winner Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Pérez); nominees Monica Barbaro, Ariana Grande (Wicked), Felicity Jones and Isabella Rossellini.
RTT: Petal, released July 31, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 dated August 15 with 295,000 equivalent album units; her seventh number-one album, after six earlier ones from Yours Truly (2013) to Eternal Sunshine (2024); ties Lady Gaga for the fifth-most among solo women. NBC: her 41-show Eternal Sunshine Tour concluded in London on the Tuesday night before publication, at the O2 Arena, so she is alive and active as of September 2026.
Tribune: she attended North Broward Preparatory School (private), had a role in 13 while still in high school, had to stop actually attending because of it, the school kept sending lessons, and she graduated in 2012. PopCrush: she attended Pine Crest School, a private preparatory school with campuses in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton.
PopCrush, quoting Australia’s WHO magazine: vocal coach Eric Vetro from two and a half to three months before her first Wicked audition, acting coach Nancy Banks long before it. Extra: Vetro says they worked months and months, three months just on the audition. GMA: Video of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards for Brighter Days Ahead, on stage with its director Christian Breslauer. Letterboxd credits Breslauer and Grande as directors, her directorial debut.

The sources behind our estimate
The figures that circulate for Ariana Grande, what we were able to confirm, and where the two diverge.
The figures given where “Ariana Grande IQ score” is searched run from 105 to 145: 105 on celebrityiqs.com (and on iqtesta.com and sociosite.net pages about an IQ of 105), 131 on lifescoretest.com and 145 in a TikTok video that lists celebrity IQs. None comes with a named test, examiner or date.
No published IQ test result for Ariana Grande exists. celebrityiqs.com titles its page “Ariana Grande IQ Score: 105” and prints “IQ: 105” with no source, test or date, next to a form asking visitors “What do you think is Ariana Grande’s IQ?” and the line “They are for entertainment purposes only.” iqtesta.com and sociosite.net use 105 as the example in explainers on what an IQ of 105 means, in biographies that give no source for the number. lifescoretest.com (last reviewed August 2026) prints 131 as an “Unverified Editorial IQ Estimate” that “must not be treated as fact.” realiqtestonline.com prints no figure and says she has never disclosed her IQ score; realiqtest.org (November 16, 2023) says there is “no reliable public record” of a professionally administered full-scale IQ score for her. A TikTok video from @popfever lists “Ariana Grande 145” beside Alicia Keys 154, Lady Gaga 166 and RM 148, but it could not be opened, so what it cites is unknown.
The figures that circulate sit 40 points apart, from 105 (about the 63rd percentile) to 145 (about 1 person in 740), and none cites a measurement; pages repeating one real score would print one number. This page’s 115–130 sits above the 105 and just below the 131 and 145; the 131, one point over the top of the range, is a coincidence, not corroboration.

Ariana Grande — frequently asked
What is Ariana Grande’s IQ?
No IQ test result for Ariana Grande has been published, so her IQ score is not publicly known. The figures online, 105, 131 and 145, name no test. An estimated IQ level inferred from her documented record of three Grammys, seven Billboard 200 number-one albums and an Oscar nomination is roughly 115–130.
Did Ariana Grande ever take an IQ test?
No record of one has surfaced. None of the pages checked names a test she sat, an examiner or a date, and realiqtestonline.com says she has never disclosed her IQ score. An “Ariana Grande IQ test” online is usually a fan trivia quiz, such as a 20-question career quiz at globalmusicvibe.com.
Where do the 105, 131 and 145 IQ scores for Ariana Grande come from?
From celebrity-IQ pages and a social video, not from testing. celebrityiqs.com prints 105 and says its scores are “for entertainment purposes only,” lifescoretest.com calls its 131 an unverified editorial estimate, and a TikTok list shows 145. None names a test, examiner or date.
Is Ariana Grande intelligent?
Nothing published measures whether Ariana Grande is smart in real life. Her record shows sustained skill: a 2012 high-school graduation while working, seven Billboard 200 number-one albums, three Grammys, an Oscar nomination and a co-directed short film. This site infers an estimated IQ level of roughly 115–130 from it, a range and not a score.
Was Ariana Grande smart in school?
No grades, class rank or test scores have been published, so whether she was academically smart cannot be shown. She attended two private schools, Pine Crest and North Broward Prep, stopped attending classes to work on Broadway and graduated in 2012, per the Boca Raton Tribune. A “4.0 GPA” on one July 2026 content page cites no source.
How does Ariana Grande’s estimated IQ level compare with Lady Gaga’s and Taylor Swift’s?
This site’s estimate for Ariana Grande, 115–130, sits five points below Lady Gaga’s and Taylor Swift’s 120–135 and equals Kanye West’s and Drake’s. All are inferred from achievement, not test scores, and the gap reflects the kind of evidence (performance awards and an acting nomination), not talent.
How many Grammys has Ariana Grande won, and has she been nominated for an Oscar?
As of September 2026, Ariana Grande has won 3 Grammy Awards from 20 nominations, most recently for “Defying Gravity” with Cynthia Erivo on February 1, 2026. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Wicked at the 97th Academy Awards on March 2, 2025; Zoe Saldaña won.
